“Nick of Mitten State Maintenance was an absolute life saver who restored our faith in tradesmen after a disastrous experience with our bathroom-remodel contractor. Nick is thoughtful, professional, courteous, kind, detail-oriented, and incredibly skilled and talented. He took on our job and quickly righted the ship when things were going downhill. Nick installed a heated tile floor, a custom shower surround in vertically stacked subway tile, and a beautiful half-wall backsplash with a penny-tile ledge behind our bathroom sinks. The design was very custom and Nick worked out all the complicated math to make the very graphic design really sing. It looks gorgeous. We loved having him around so much that we brought him back to do a second bathroom. For that one, he engineered a wet-room with a beautiful soaking tub and separate zero-entry shower. Getting the flooring right to accommodate the two separate drains and keep the rest of the space dry took lots of thoughtful, detailed planning. Nick made every job look gorgeous, so polished and perfect, and finished on schedule. I appreciate his consideration and communication. Would recommend him to anybody — and have! He deserves to succeed, and we need more businesses like his in Burlington. We’re figuring out what we can tile next, just to have him around. Can’t rave about him or his work enough.
